Turki Shujaa Al-Dosari, a graduate of the College from the 1443 AH academic year, on earning his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University following the successful defense of his thesis, which represents a valuable contribution to one of the modern and advanced fields of engineering.
His research focused on developing an advanced methodology at the intersection of radar systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and FPGA-based hardware acceleration. The thesis explored state-of-the-art techniques for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detection and classification, utilizing high-fidelity electromagnetic simulations and modern machine learning models. It also introduced a unified framework for efficiently deploying AI applications on FPGA platforms, enabling high-performance real-time processing. This work represents an important step toward integrating intelligent technologies into surveillance, security, and advanced embedded systems.
