College of Engineering in Wadi Al-Dawasir is an educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education in the fields of engineering and technology. However, the college's role goes beyond just delivering lectures and classes. The college also strives to make a positive impact on students and the surrounding community through a variety of initiatives.

The initiatives of the College of Engineering are a vital part of the college's commitment to developing future leaders who are committed to social and technological responsibility. These initiatives encompass a wide range of activities that encourage innovation, promote creative thinking, and direct knowledge towards solutions to global challenges.

In this context, the College of Engineering in Wadi Al-Dawasir has introduced three initiatives for the academic year 1445 H. These initiatives reflect the college's commitment to providing value to students and the community and serving it actively. The college also actively encourages students to be part of solutions to social and technological issues through their participation in service projects that benefit the local and global community.

These three initiatives are:

1. Recycling Initiative:

The Recycling Initiative is a significant part of the commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation at the College of Engineering. This initiative reflects the dedication to raising awareness among students about the importance of recycling and preserving Earth's resources. It includes organizing workshops and awareness campaigns on recycling and reusing materials, as well as providing proper disposal facilities for recyclable materials on campus.

2. Robot Hackathon Initiative:

If you're a fan of technology and engineering, the Robot Hackathon Initiative will undoubtedly pique your interest. This exciting event provides students with the opportunity to learn and innovate in the field of robotics. Teams are encouraged to develop and build robots to address specific challenges, and participants can benefit from the expertise and guidance of professors and professionals in the field of engineering.

3. Excellence in E-Learning Initiative:

With the rapid shift towards online education, the Excellence in E-Learning Initiative plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting students and faculty members in utilizing technology to enhance the learning experience. This initiative includes promoting the optimal use of the Blackboard platform and providing training courses on how to maximize its potential and all electronic tools in education. The goal of this initiative is to improve the quality of e-learning and make it accessible to everyone at the highest level of quality.

These three initiatives are part of the College of Engineering's commitment to providing exceptional education, promoting innovation and sustainability, and reflecting the spirit of innovation and dedication to developing a vibrant and distinguished student community.
