The Community Service Committee at the College of Engineering, led by Dr. Mohammed Al Nakhli, successfully concluded its last program for the first semester of the academic year 1445 H, titled "First Aid Course." The course proved to be a distinctive learning experience, enjoyed by attendees who benefitted from its diverse and valuable content.
The course, supervised by Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Zanati, Head of the Nursing Sciences Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Wadi Al Dawasir, spanned two consecutive days. Sessions were held daily from 10 PM to 12 AM, providing a comprehensive overview of essential concepts in first aid.
Covering a wide range of crucial topics, the course delved into principles of first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), bleeding control, fractures and injuries, fainting and seizures, burns, and poisoning. The practical and interactive lectures were well-received, with 24 participants including students, faculty members, and staff.
The course's success can be attributed to its effective organization and high-quality content. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the program's success, Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Zanati was honored at the conclusion of the course.
In the closing ceremony, Dr. Mohammed Al Nakhli, the head of the Community Service Committee, and Dr. Maysara Muhyi Al-Din Qasim, the committee's coordinator, expressed their gratitude and presented an appreciation token to Dr. Mustafa. They acknowledged his exceptional efforts in ensuring the course's success and praised his dedication to enhancing the community's knowledge in first aid.
