Lab Description:
Microprocessor Lab is designed for the level 6 students. It has twelve 8086 Microprocessor and 16F877 Microcontroller kits along with 12 computers. It also has Interfacing kits such as Elevator control, Traffic Lights control, Stepper Motor, and Digital to Analog convertor. The programs are written using Assembly Language. The Experiments are classified into 3 categories:
1. Programs using 8086 Microprocessor.
2. Programs to run the interfacing kits with 8086 Micrprocessor
3. Programs using Microcontroller.
The Programs are assembled and linked using MASM software. The real time applications can also be executed using the Microcontroller kits. Each Student is assigned a particular system to performs the experiment. Every week an experiment is explained and then the students execute all the programs in that experiment in the same week itself. Report and Assignment has to be submitted by the students every week.
