The Student Engineering Club in Wadi Al-Dawasir organized a “Basics of Welding Electronic Elements” training workshop at the Student Engineering Club headquarters on Thursday, 10/11/1443 AH.
It was prepared and presented by Abdul-Jabbar Arwani, a student in the College of Electrical Engineering, and under the supervision of the Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department and the Supervisor of the Student Engineering Club, Dr. Ziad Halawani, under the supervision of the assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering in Wadi Al-Dawasir, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Abdel-Ghani.
Student Abdul-Jabbar Arwani explained the importance of welding in engineering specialization, life fields, types of welding, how to use it correctly and safely, and avoid the damages that may occur when wrongly used.
The training workshop included many tools for practical application, including:
- Welding devices
- Soldering tin
- Board (printed circuit board)
- Resistance
- Suction
- Soldering paste
The course included a time dedicated to the practical application of the skills that were previously explained with the participating students, which led to the student's interaction with the course presenter
The students expressed the importance of welding and their need to use it in many of their daily needs and thanked the course presenter and the engineering club coordinators, who requested more courses
