The college of Engineering, Wadi Al-Dawasir, represented by the Alumni and Community Service Unit in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, held a training course entitled "Communication Skills and Effective Communication", presented by Dr. Obi Younis Taha, staff member at the college of Engineering, Wadi Al-Dawasir.
The course focused on a number of objectives, including the basic concepts of communication skills, identifying the practical and managerial benefits of communication skills, identifying communication tools and how to plan for them, career commitment in the work environment, simple steps to focus in office and work, ways to make the employee more productive at work, The work environment, reviewing the strategies and skills of communication and persuasion when addressing others, and ways to influence them.
Dr. Obi explained that he planned for this course to be a training bag that aims to provide the participants with effective communication skills and develop their skills of presentation in a professional and effective manner, and in the interest of the Dean of the College of Engineering and the utmost importance to be a student of these skills, we have held this course several times so that all students The College of Engineering is able to acquire these skills, and in order to benefit the most of them in their scientific and practical life, while enabling the graduate student to become acquainted with this training bag, its contents will play a major role in supporting its future successes.
The session included workshops and practical exercises, with the opportunity for trainees to give models and suggestions for problems and ways to solve them.
It is worth mentioning that the course attracted the participants' appreciation, in addition to their response to participation in training and practical activities, and expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Deanship of the College to support the graduates in the fields that serve their future aspirations.
